Cookie Policy

Last updated: 7 October 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Pond Provisions Co (a trading name of Express Matting Services Ltd) uses cookies and similar technologies on pondprovisionsco.co.uk. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the site work properly, remember your basket and preferences, keep your session secure, and help us understand how the site is used. Similar technologies, such as local storage, do the same kind of job.

Your choices

When you first visit, a cookie banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. Essential cookies are always on because the store cannot work without them. You can change your choice at any time by clearing cookies in your browser and revisiting the site, and you can block or delete cookies through your browser settings — though some parts of the store may then not work as expected.

The cookies we use

Our store is hosted on Shopify, and the cookies on this site are set by Shopify to run the shop. The main cookies are below. Exact names and lifetimes can change as Shopify updates its platform.

What we do not use

As of the date above, this store does not run third-party advertising or social-media tracking pixels (for example Google Analytics, Google Ads, or the Meta/Facebook pixel) on its storefront. If that changes, we will update this policy and our consent banner first.

Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by the providers that help us run the store — Shopify (hosting and analytics) and our payment providers (Shop Pay, Klarna and card processors). These providers use the cookies under their own privacy policies.
